This mapping aims to facilitate collaboration, foster synergies, and drive innovation while supporting the biocomposites market by clarifying the industrial landscape. It also promotes sustainability by encouraging locally sourced flax, reducing reliance on imported synthetic materials. The document provides an overview of the European biocomposites sector, its challenges, and the role of fibres in composites.
